If you're curious about somatics, not sure where to begin, and want to explore at your own pace...
Join dia for a practical & playful 3-part workshop series, to introduce you to three embodiment practices, within a soft-courageous intersectional space.
Together, we'll notice what's nourishing within your existing environment, get curious about the ways you sense the world, and explore how feeling within your body can support you to act in integrity with your values. You'll leave with simple practices that you can return to & make your own.

When
This series includes 3 live workshops. To benefit from the live community setting and foster connection within the group, I ask that you aim to attend at least 1 of the live Zoom sessions, and to watch the recording if you can't attend a session live:
Week 1: Resourcing within our environment
Wednesday 14th January, 7pm - 8.30pm GMT
Week 2: PIE (Proprioception, Interoception, Exteroception)
Wednesday 21st January, 7pm - 8.30pm GMT
Week 3: Centering + Purpose
Wednesday 28th January, 7pm - 8.30pm GMT
What to expect each week
Shared opening ritual + Introduction, followed by guided embodiment practice, solo reflection with journal prompts, group reflection within sharing circle, and shared closing ritual. Expect invitations into sharing (with voice or chat) & movement. Short break halfway through.
What’s included

Why embodiment?
Connecting to what already feels nourishing to our bodymind, that we can notice within our current environment
How does your body let you know what feels good?

Exploring the different ways we can sense – within physical space, within the internal landscape of our bodymind, and how the external environment meets us
Getting curious about how we sense the world
How does your body experience presence?

Being with our bodymind as we feel into dignity, belonging, lineage and commitment
Connecting the internal felt sense with our personal sense of purpose
How might the ways you feel guide how you choose to act?
You may enjoy this series if you
feel curious about sensations that arise in your body
can be non-judgemental & compassionate towards thoughts & feelings as they emerge
sense some nervousness around the idea of embodiment, and want to explore it at your own pace
may experience chronic pain and/or may identify as neurodivergent, and want simple practices that feel accessible
enjoy the process of self-reflection and reflection with others in a group

Sliding Scale Payment Options

Gathering Agreements
By gathering together in a liminal workshop space, we get to practice co-creating the world we're envisioning! By participating, we agree to practice:
- offering & receiving invitation without expectation
- being in choice, being with what is here now & attending to our needs
- going gently, to honour our individual capacity & our edges
- experimentation, away from from ideas of what's right
- embodied care & respect within an intersectional & multiracial space
