Community Sponsorship

Every month I co-facilitate an in-person gathering, where BIPOC people of all ages (from children to elders) can rest and play. We sit in circle, we play games, we read stories.

It's the group I wish I'd had access to when I was a kid growing up in an un-diverse place in the 1980s, so that I could have seen myself reflected and had a space to just be.

This space is still needed.

This is an invitation into community sponsorship, as part of the ecosystem, so that this group can become a sustainable legacy project that continues beyond me.

This group is free-at-the-point-of-access for participants. It is a not-for-profit project.

Listed below are the running costs, per month, for this gathering. The invitation is to contribute in whatever way you'd like. Any money donated will only be used for the costs of this gathering.

Hall Hire, £52.80

Facilitators' Fees (planning + delivery: £25 per hour x 2 hours x 2 facilitators), £100

Travel costs, £20

Refreshments for participants, £10

Total monthly running costs, £182.80
