Terms of Service
I'm looking forward to our time together. Please read these terms of service and ask any questions before booking, by email to:
everydaywrites@protonmail.com
By booking a session, you agree to these terms of service between me (Dia, Everyday Writes) and you as client.
1. Honouring Our Humanness
If you live with a dynamic disability or have unpredictable caring responsibilities that you think may affect your ability to attend booked sessions, please let me know ahead of booking, so we can agree how best to navigate and communicate.
If you need support to book an appointment, please send me an email and I can book you in from my end.
2. Booking & Payment
Appointments are booked online here.
After booking, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email containing the Zoom link.
For single sessions and regular sessions, payment is required at the time of booking.
For multi-session journeys, we will agree a payment schedule.
3. Rescheduling
You can reschedule your appointment with up to 3 days notice.
Changes made with less than 3 days notice will be considered as cancellations and will not be refunded. This is to honour that each session time is set aside for you and cannot be offered to someone else at short notice.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Once booked, sessions are non-refundable, but can be rescheduled as above.
If I need to cancel your session due to illness or emergency, you will receive a full refund. This will be attended to as soon as possible and within 3 working days. Your refund will be processed back onto the payment method you used when booking.
5. Scope of Service
I work in an intuitive way and bring a range of skills. A session may combine somatic coaching, peer conversation, teaching, mentor-guidance, ritual, writing services. It may include invitations to explore conceptual self-awareness (processing through thoughts and making meaning with words) and embodied self-awareness (using our senses to feel from within our bodies and connect to felt sense signals).
Everything offered is an invitation not an expectation - you can choose to say no, yes, or maybe.
What I offer is not advice, therapy, or prescriptive. You are responsible for any decisions or actions you make that arise from our time together.
6. My Responsibilities
- to communicate clearly and explain any process offered
- to keep track of time so you can rest into the session
- to meet whatever you bring with curiosity, non-judgement and loving presence
7. Your Responsibilities as Client
- to understand that each session is client-led, to be in active choice about how you participate, and to attend to your physical & mental wellbeing throughout
- to consider our session(s) within the holistic picture of your healing support, e.g. inform any other practitioners or therapists or friends of our work together, let me know any health concerns, and explore additional therapeutic or community support as needed
- to support integration by creating space after each session to process, reflect, be with and go gently, e.g. time in nature, moving your body, connecting with loved ones, writing / drawing / singing / creating, or doing something that nourishes you
8. Confidentiality & Safeguarding
I consider it an honour that you choose to share personal information and confidential experiences with me, and take my responsibility towards your privacy very seriously. All information disclosed at every point during our time together (documented or verbal) is securely stored according to UK GDPR laws.
In accordance with the ethics of my profession, I receive supervision from a qualified supervisor. Within supervision, topics may be anonymously shared one-to-one with my supervisor, with the aim of receiving professional guidance so I can be the best practitioner I can be.
Outside of supervision, I will never knowingly share or discuss any of your personal or confidential information except where legally required, or for example if your safety or someone else’s is at serious risk. In exceptional circumstances, confidentiality may be broken in accordance with adult and child safeguarding laws.
9. Professional Standards
I follow the core values, ethical principles and standards set forth in the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics.
I'm committed to spending time and building relationship in spaces that tend to both the personal and professional aspects of my role: to develop my approach, process my own experiences and emotions, receive coaching supervision, mentorship and peer support, be in embodiment practice with others, and be a lifelong learner.
10. Disclaimer
This service is not therapy, counselling, psychiatric care, or medical advice. You agree to seek qualified professional help for any of those needs.
Sessions are about possibility and your experience will be individual. There is no guarantee of outcome or of what you will experience. The services I offer are rooted in what is present and emerging in the moment, with a forward focus towards integrating these insights. The aim is for it to feel playful, non-judgemental, creative and celebratory of all that emerges.
11. Relational Care & Dispute Resolution
Care and attentiveness is the foundation of our time together. In relationship, there is always a risk of accidental harm or misunderstanding. In the spirit of partnership, we agree to seek to nurture a culture of dialogue, openness, mediation, and repair, should this occur.
12. Limitation of Liability

This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
