Online | Centering Together ~ Guided Community Practice

A monthly online community practice space for all, whether you're new to somatics or deep in practice.

Drop in, feel held, and experience the resonance of shared practice together, so that something feels more possible within your life, communities & relationships.

• Want to begin or continue a foundational embodiment practice that will transform how you experience connection & presence (both self to self and self to other beings), and deeply support how you move in the world
• Feel curious about exploring physical sensations, sensory experiences, thoughts, energetic awareness, imagery, queerness, ancestral wisdom, and anything else that is part of how you live inside your body

This is a live practice and is not recorded.

What to expect:

• I’ll guide us all through a somatic Centering practice, supporting you to sense into what’s here - physically, spiritually, emotionally - across the dimensions of length, width, depth & center. We’ll use those dimensions to connect to dignity, belonging, time & lineage, and purpose
• You’ll connect to your felt sense of commitment ~ what's important to you and what you’re devoted to within your own healing and our collective field
• You'll have some time to reflect & record anything you noticed from the practice
• We’ll have time after the Centering practice for optional sharing within the group

Gathering Agreements 

This is a co-created space to be with sensation & feeling, and to model the world we yearn to live in through practicing together. By participating in this live offering, we agree to practice:

- Arriving and staying as our nuanced selves, being in choice throughout as to how/whether we participate

- Being with “what is here now” as it emerges

- Going gently, understanding that embodiment practice can be activating, and honouring our individual capacity and our edges

- Creating and allowing space & silence to feel into our bodies and process without urgency

- Being attentive to the multiracial nature of the space, and seeking to be actively anti-racist, including a practice of inviting BIPOC folks to share first before opening to the whole group

- Inviting each other into choice and not making assumptions

- Relating to each other with respect, care, kindness and belonging, respecting confidentiality of each other’s shares and holding each other in our dignity
