Join me (Nadia Karim) and Martina Matochova, a Life Strategy and Career Coach, to experience a nourishing day of transformational coaching in person. A hands-on, personalised day with space for reflection, fun and connection. You'll leave this workshop feeling motivated, focused and with a plan of action!
Where + When
Saturday 27th May from 10am - 5pm at the Century Studio in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
What to Expect
Transformational coaching is a journey of reflection, discovery, and self-awareness combined with action, motivation, and goal orientation. You'll create a vision board, identify the issue that you'd most like to focus your energy on, and be supported to develop a timeline of positive action.
This workshop will be a unique experience co-created by all of us there (maximum 10 participants). There will be plenty of space for individual reflection throughout, as well as opportunities to connect, share conversation and find common ground as a group. The workshop will combine coaching exercises and practical strategies, to help you move forwards towards the life you want. Everything can be tailored to your needs and the way you work best!
You can expect to:
- Find motivation to make changes in your life and career
- Better understand yourself, your needs, your hopes, your strengths, your vision
- Get to the core of what stops you moving forward in some areas
- Set challenging goals that feel aligned for you
- Tune into the opportunities you might not yet have noticed
- Fill your soul with the knowledge that positive change is possible
- Discover techniques that work with who you are now in this moment
- Focus on your potential and your future objectives
- Connect in an honest way and be inspired by your fellow attendees
About your hosts
Martina Matochova (she/her) is a Transformational Life Strategy & Career focused Coach, Mentor, and Motivator. She specialises in a life strategy approach, using her personal and professional experience to help people discover their life purpose and dream job, to follow their heart, set goals, fulfill their potential and finally go for it. She is passionate about travel, new experiences and anything unexplored, and provides her services in English, German and Czech.
Nadia Karim (she/her) is a life coach who creates beautiful spaces for people who don't always feel like they belong. She combines her 15 years’ experience as a freelance creative helping people find the words and confidence to share their story, with her coaching strength of holding a non-judgmental space that feels playful as well as profound. Plus, a lifetime as a neurodivergent introvert who loves connecting with people but wants to do it in a way that feels nourishing instead of draining.
Refreshments
Tea, coffee & sweet treats will be provided throughout the day and we invite you to bring a snack to share with the group if you'd like. Please note that lunch is not provided - you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat in the space, or there will be time for you to head to a local cafe during the lunch break if you'd prefer.
Inclusion
Know that your lived experience is so welcome here! You can show up exactly as you are on the day. We endeavour to create a space that feels safe for everyone there, and will be in touch with all attendees before the event to ask what that means for you if you'd like to share. We will never assume a cis-gendered, heterosexual, able-bodied, neurotypical experience to be your default. We are committed to being anti-racist and inclusive. Everyday Writes spaces have a zero tolerance policy on discrimination.
About the Venue
Century Studio is a beautiful community space in the heart of Kirkcaldy in the east of Scotland. We'll have sole use of the space, with comfy seats and a bright cosy vibe. The studio is on the ground floor. Please note that it is not accessible for people who use a wheelchair due to the narrow front doorway. If you are a wheelchair user and would like to attend this workshop, please get in touch to discuss ways we can make it accessible for you through an alternative venue in the near future.
Getting There
You’ll find Century Studio in Kirkcaldy's vibrant Merchants' Quarter, right in the centre of town at the end of the High Street. The bus station is 5 minutes away, and Kirkcaldy train station (which is on the east coast main line) is 10 minutes away. There are several car parks nearby. Within the Merchants' Quarter, you’ll find loads of independent shops including some brilliant cafes.
Refunds
Please note that tickets are non-refundable. In the event that we have to cancel the workshop due to illness, you will receive a full refund.
After you've booked
We'll be in touch by email to say hi – we'll invite you to let me know of any needs or requests you have that you’d like us to know about. Before the event, we'll send you the full run-down of timings and what to bring, because we know how daunting it can feel when you're stepping into the unknown, especially if signing up to this workshop already feels out of your comfort zone :)
